Lathing
Lathing is a type of backing material for plaster including two layers of paper, a water proofing membrane and a metal wire mesh or expanded metal that is applied to a wood or metal framework as matrix over which stucco or plaster is applied. This provides a waterproof base.
Interior Stucco
Interior Stucco is made of cement, fine sand, and a small percentage of lime and applied in a wet/plastic state to form a hard covering for walls. There are multiple types of finishes: steel trowel finish, marble finish, skip trowel finish, and float finish. Color pigment can be added to any type of finish.
Exterior Stucco
Exterior Stucco is made of cement, sand, and a small percentage of lime and applied in a wet/plastic state to form a hard covering for walls. There are multiple types of finishes: hard float finish, skip trowel finish, steel trowel finish, marble finish, drivit color coat finish, and many more.
Texture Matching
I'm able to match any type of texture for patches and new work. Additionally I can provide multiple types of plaster finishes.
